Studies show that eating nuts several times per week, lowers the risk for heart disease by 30-50%; Eating 5 or more 1 oz servings of nuts per week, reduced the risk of Type 2 diabetes by almost 30%; Women in this study who ate 5 tablespoons of natural peanut butter per week, lowered it by almost 20%.
